The Soap, produced By Shree Venkatesh Films, was a Remake Of The Most Popular Hindi Television Series Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, which aired on STAR Plus. It replaced Star Jalsha's most popular show Tapur Tupur.

Plot[edit]

Pakhi Ghosh Dastidar (Madhumita Sarkar), daughter of Sharat Ghosh Dastidar (Kushal Chakraborty) and Sumitra Ghosh Dastidar (Reshmi Sen) is a simple and traditional girl from Malda deeply rooted in family values. She believes in the strength of love, relationships, and faith in God. On the other hand, Aranya Singha Roy (Yash Dasgupta) is a rich, arrogant and suave business tycoon with no belief in love or God. His closest emotional bond is with his sister Ananya (Debaparna Chakraborty). Pakhi and Aranya first meet each other at hotel Rajmahal where Pakhi accidentally falls from the stage in Aranya's arms. Aranya thinks it as an intentional effort to blander his occasion. However he locks pakhi in a room and behaves very rudely. Next time he exposed the video of falling Pakhi in his arms through media. For this Piu's marriage breaks and their family faces a great disrespect. Then they move to Kolkata from Maldah. Here Pakhi meets ASR again in a temple and they quarrel again. Pakhi takes a job in the ASR Group of Industries where she signs in a contact of 1 lakh rupees with ASR. Meanwhile, she assigns as the P.A of ASR. Day by day Pakhi starts to make many funny things and also causes many problems in the office. ASR also insults her a lot and many times he punishes her. Then Anu meets Pakhi and assigns her to take care of Pamela and to make her a proper traditional girl for ASR. Pamela is ASR's college friend and now lives with them as she is going to be married with ASR. ASR feels so disturbed in home too for Pakhi. Circumstances bring them close and they start to feel for each other. They also spend many romantic moments as time gets close. But Krishnendu [Anu's husband] lusts for Pakhi and tries to marry Pakhi. As Pakhi doesn't ever see him, he easily takes proposal to Pakhi's house. At first Pakhi refuses. But on the day of Anu's birthday, ASR tries to kiss her but somehow he controls himself. This makes Pakhi passionate and also shy. Rather ASR insults her a lot and declares his engagement with Pamela. Pakhi gets heartbroken and agrees to marry Krishnendu. Hearing this ASR also feels guilty and heartbroken. He wants to meet Pakhi's would be husband. Anu & Didun congratulates Pakhi. Soon Pakhi gets know about Krishnendu's plot and his true identity. Thus she refuses to marry him. Here Pamela somehow tries to harm Anu. Knowing that ASR refuses to marry her and sends her to London again. However all barriers between them get out.

However Akki & Piu's marriage ceremony starts. In sangeet, surprisingly ASR dances with Pakhi and takes her closer. After that he challenges Pakhi to do the same what he would do. Pakhi accepts the challenge and surprisingly ASR kisses her. As such Pakhi also kisses him unwillingly. Here ASR feels so jealous with Harry. Understanding this Pakhi makes Harry wear 'Rakhi' and their relation turns into brother and sister. ASR feels happy and decides to confront his love to Pakhi. Here Krishnendu has been trying to kill Anu to get Pakhi. He always keeps an eye on ASR & Pakhi. On Piu's marriage day, ASR tries to propose Pakhi but he can't succeed. Everyone gets surprised but accepts Pakhi as the daughter in law of Singha Roy family.

Pakhi tries to know the reason behind this marriage. But ASR doesn't reveal the truth. Still ASR loves Pakhi but never expresses that. After a few months Pakhi threats ASR that if he doesn't tell the reason then she will commit suicide. ASR slaps her and speaks out the truth. Pakhi gets shocked and tries to make him understand the truth. But ASR doesn't believe her and goes to London. On his way he is kidnapped by Krishnendu. Pakhi somehow realizes that Aranya is in danger and she reaveals that Krishnendu has kidnapped Aranya. Pakhi shares this with Harry. With Harry's help she finds out ASR. Here ASR realizes his mistake and again takes Pakhi closer. They spend some romantic moments together. After coming back home they reveal the truth to Anu. But she misunderstands them and goes against ASR and Pakhi. At the same time Pamela also comes back to take revenge. After lots of hurdles and efforts ASR and Pakhi succeed to expose Krishnendu before Anu and finally they reunite.

Now Pakhi and Aranya are getting married on the show for the second time after going through lots of hurdles, and planning on exposing Krishnendu. After the wedding Krishnendu's appearance makes everyone shocked. Aranya gets shot and he falls in a river. Police investigate and state that Aranya is dead. Pakhi denies to believe Aranya's post death and acts madly as Aranya is alive. After some time Harry and Gauri get married and everything gets normal except Pakhi's abnormal behaviour.

6 months leap[edit]

Krishnendu is the owner of Aranya's property and everyone is convinced by him. But Pakhi's condition is getting worse day by day. In the meantime all family members visit Udaygarh where Pakhi meets Radhe (Aranya's lookalike). Radhe starts visiting Pakhi in Aranya's family appeal and he also demands money else he will not come. Family brings Radhe in their house along with Radhe's family member Baisaa and Bijli(Baisaa daughter). Meanwhile, Pakhi tries to expose that Radhe is Aranya but fails and convinces Krishnendu for marrying her so that Radhe expose himself. But Krishnendu doubts her. Here Radhe reveals that he is none other than Aranya and saves Pakhi from marrying evil Krishnendu. Krishnendu's evil deeds sent to pay for his sins and he gets arrested. Now Bijli is in Aranya and Pakhi's way. As she loves Aranya so she is taking revenge on Pakhi. Now new character, Raj has come to destroy Singha Ray family. But Pakhi was trying to stop him and for this reason she started to misbehave with Aranya. Raj was doing this because he wanted to take revenge because his father left him and his mother for Aranya's mother. But later he understood that there was no fault in Aranya's mother so he let her go and he also left.Later pakhi meets with her twin sister khushi n her lover Arnab.Soon after reuniting Khushi and Arnab on the wedding day of Khushi Arnab the shows ends on a happy note.

Bojhena Shey Bojhena (Bengali: বোঝেনা সে বোঝেনা; English: He/She doesn't understand) is a 2012 Indian Bengaliromantic dramafilm by Raj Chakraborty and produced by Shree Venkatesh Films. The film illustrates two love stories – with Soham Chakraborty & Mimi Chakraborty playing the characters in one of the stories and Abir Chatterjee & Payel Sarkar playing the other – which join together in the climax. The film was initially titled Prem Amar 2 but eventually the director changed the name because of the entry of two new characters and a different storyline. The film's music is by debutante Arindam Chatterjee.^[1]The film's theatrical trailer was unveiled on the film's official YouTube channel on 8 December 2012.^[2] This film is a remake of Tamil film named Engaeyum Eppothum (Anywhere Anytime) released in 2011.

The film starts with an accident. Then it shifts back several months before when Joyeeta, (Payel Sarkar) an educated and beautiful young girl from the village of Balurghat comes to Kolkata to give an interview for her work. But her sister who was supposed to guide her around the city could not come due to the stroke of her father-in-law. She takes help from a stranger boy named Abhik (Abir Chatterjee) who bunks his job in order to help her but ends up the entire day with her. The next day Joyeeta returns to her village and soon realizes her love for Abhik. Meanwhile, in the city Abhik also realizes the same and started planning to go to Balurghat to meet her.

Then a parallel story takes place where Noor Islam (Soham Chakraborty), a poor guy from the village of Murshidabad comes to Malda to find a suitable work. Noor falls for the heavenly beauty and charm of a gorgeous young girl Rhea (Mimi Chakraborty), who is an educated doctor by profession.Rhea happens to be Noor's neighbour and he watches her every morning for the last six months. One day Noor meets Rhea, and expresses his love for her. Rhea, however, is bold and independent, agrees to his love and commences to command him mercilessly. She puts him through several tests such as getting him to agree to organ donation, HIV testing, talking him to a police commissioner who is her father, fixing meeting with her former one-sided lover and so on. She wants him to decide on the basis of all that she's put him through as to whether he wants to marry her and spend the rest of his life with her. Noor responds affirmatively and the two grow to love each other unconditionally with the consent of their families.

Then the story flashes back to the present where Noor takes Rhea to meet his parents. They ride the same bus which is boarded by Abhik too who went to meet Joyeeta albeit he is returning as he could not find her address. Then another bus shows Joyeeta who is returning to Balurghat from Kolkata, where she went again to meet Abhik.Besides, it also shows a glimpse of a mother and her child, a girls' hockey team, a newly married couple, two college students who are attracted to each other and a man returning from Dubai to see his five-year-old daughter for the first time. As they are about to reach their destination, the buses collide head-on, creating a devastating accident. People rush to their aid. Noor ends up with a severe head injury and Rhea forces him to go to the hospital by an ambulance which was leaving. She stays back to help others as being a nurse, it was her job. Abhik also starts helping others. Finally he sees Joyeeta injured in another bus. At the hospital, Abhik confesses his love to Joyeeta at her bedside, and she manages to regain consciousness. The film ends with a tragic part as showing Noor and Joyeeta dead. The concluding scene shows Noor's body being taken away by a hysteric Rhea and his grieving parents while Abhik affectionately caresses the palm of a lifeless Joyeeta inside the ICU only to leave the hospital later, in grief. The site of the crash is declared an accident prone-area, and the film ends with few messages on road safety. One can never understand the reason behind what life has in store for him/her. Hence, the name: 'Bojhena Shey Bojhena'.

The film's original soundtrack is composed by debutante Arindom Chatterjee whilst the background score and the title track is by Indraadip Dasgupta, and the lyrics have been penned by Prasen. The first single, named 'Na Re Na' was released on YouTube on 1 December 2012, with an overwhelming response – Video on YouTube. The audio is released on V Music.Two songs ( 'Na Re Na' and 'Bhogobaan' ) were adapted from the original Tamil soundtrack of Engaeyum Eppothum.
